The 3rd Annual Easter Treats in the Streets is back and bigger than ever! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 19th from 11:00am to 2:00pm for a FREE family event packed with springtime joy, sweet treats, and unforgettable memories. Make sure to hop over to Town Square to start your adventure and pick up your activity & treat map!

🌸 What’s Hoppin’ This Year?
This isn’t just any Easter event—it’s a full-on street celebration in the heart of Downtown Campbellford!

Here’s what you can look forward to:
🐇 Meet the Easter Bunny – Snap a photo and say hello to the fluffiest guest of honour! The Bunny will be joining us at town square so make sure to start your adventure there and pick up your map!
🎨 Easter Bag Decorating – Kids can get creative and make their own treat bags before heading off on their sweet adventure.
🎶 Live Music – While at town square make sure to do the “Bunny Hop” while listening to the sweet tunes from local musician Steve Runions!
🚒 Touch-a-Truck Experience – Little ones can explore municipal vehicles thanks to the Municipality of Trent Hills, climb aboard Trent Hills Fire Department fire trucks, and even get up close with a huge sprayer and tractor from Ron & Margaret Elmhirst of Dairyhirst Farms!
🎨 Face Painting & Balloon Animals – Our talented face painter Lindsay Allison and balloon artist Pepper the Clown will be adding some colour and magic to the day.
🏒 Mini Sticks Hockey Game – Drop in for a game with the Trent Hills Thunder hockey team—sticks and fun provided! Located at the Firehall/Emergency Services Base.
📚 Craft Drop-In at the Library – Pop into the Campbellford Branch of the Trent Hills Library for a fun Easter-themed craft session – available until 1pm.
🥋 Bunny Karate Demonstration – Check out the greenspace on Front St. South for some karate-chopping bunnies showing off their egg-cellent skills! Families are welcome to join Sensei Mark “Funny Bunny” Englehart from Trent Hills Martial Arts and his class and try out some moves from 11am-12:30pm.
🧘 Quiet Space – Inclusion Northumberland will be holding a quiet activity space in the Acorn Room for anyone that needs a break from the action! Relaxing activities and bathroom facilities will be available.
🍭 Sweet Surprises Around Every Corner
Many of our amazing downtown businesses will be handing out free treats to children. Families are encouraged to follow the treat map through town, collecting goodies and checking out the charming local shops and restaurants that make Campbellford shine.

🎬 Bonus! Free Movie Matinee at the Aron Theatre
The fun doesn’t stop at 2pm—head over to the Aron Theatre for a FREE matinee showing of Peter Rabbit! Thanks to Allaire Althouse Real Estate Team for this fantastic finale to a hopping fun day!
